These Young Bison Could Save America’s Prairie

Co-Producer/Editor/Videographer with Spencer Millsap

Sean Gerrity, president of the American Prairie Reserve, is working to build a bison herd of at least at least 10,000, which would make it the largest in the world. Bison help sustain a prairie’s ecology, and the herd will be a key part of what Gerrity hopes will be the biggest wildlife reserve in the lower 48. Produced with Spencer Millsap for the National Geographic Innovators Series.
